Q: What was your favorite IEC activity?
A: BBQ. I ate delicious food, and I also play basketball with my classmates. It was the first time to play basketball I after I broke my leg.
Q: What has been the most helpful strategy for you in studying English?
A: I think it is to be confident, try your best to speak, and practice again and again. Making plans before learning new knowledge is also a good strategy.
Q: How do you usually spend your free time?
A: Listening to music, watching some movies, playing video games.
Q: What has been the most shocking experience in the US?
A: When I ride to IEC, I see an interesting thing on the way. Although the light is red, people still turn right. It is different in China.
Q: What do you like about living in the US?
A: Concord. It is located in California. The weather is very nice, and it is similar to Guangzhou, the city where I lived in China. The best NBA team is in Concord too.
Q: What do you miss about your home country?
A: I miss the food. The culture is different in every country including the food. I lived in China for 18 years, so I really like Chinese food, but I haven’t eaten that for a month.
Q: What’s your goal while you are studying in the US?
A: At first, I want to go to DVC. Then after 2 years of hard study, I want to transfer to USC because my favorite major is media, and USC media is very nice. It is better for me, and I will try my best to do it.
