Q: Where are you from?
A: Shantou, China
Q: Which level of IEC class are you in?
A: Advanced B RWG
Q: Do you want to transfer to DVC?
A: Yes! I want to major in Business and graduate from UC Berkeley or another UC.
Q: What was your favorite IEC activity?
A: San Francisco day trip, because you can meet many new classmates and make friends!
Q: Name ONE food you would eat if you had to eat it for the rest of your life?
Q: What has been the most helpful strategy for you in studying English?
A: Ask your teachers lots of questions, they don’t mind! Just practice as much as possible, watch movies in English, and make friends with some native English speakers.
Q: What other places in the U.S. do you want to visit? How about the worldwide?
A: I would love to visit Switzerland to ski in the Alps! (but first I have to practice, the only time I tried skiing was with my IEC@DVC friends in Tahoe!)
Q: What do you miss about your home country?
A: My family! … and food!
Q: If you were gifted $1M today, what’s the first thing you would do?
A: I would use half to found my company, invest thirty percent, and use the rest to buy a house here in the Bay Area!
