IEC@DVC Alumna Juna Featured in Hometown Korean Newspaper

August 6, 2018

After completing studies at IEC@DVC, students go on to do great things: many transfer to Diablo Valley College and then to a four-year university to receive their bachelor’s degree, and students continue to use their English skills in their life and career. We love to see what our students achieve after gaining the English skills they have learned at IEC@DVC!

One IEC@DVC alumna, Juna Moon, was recently featured in her hometown newspaper in Korea. Congratulations to Juna for this recognition!

Juna was not just an IEC@DVC student: she was also a student worker. After attending Diablo Valley College, Juna transferred to the University of California, Berkeley, where she is currently studying a degree in media studies. Our Marketing and Communications Manager, Alex Nichol, said the following about Juna:

Juna Moon was one of, if not the best, student worker we’ve ever had the privilege of hosting at our school. Her incredible talent for making and editing videos will be missed, but we’re very glad that she was able to hone her skills working for us. We hope that the experience will serve her well in her future career in the film and media industry. Don’t forget to give IEC@DVC a credit in your movies, Juna!

We are so proud of you, Juna! Congratulations again for your recognition and all that you have achieved since you left IEC@DVC. You deserve all your hard-earned success!
