Train your brain! When alone, narrate your actions in English. This will make it clear when you are missing vocabulary words.
Attend English exercise classes
Do you go to an exercise class, like spin or yoga or weight lifting? Attend these classes in English. As a student, you do not have to speak: you only have to exercise and listen. This is a great, no-pressure way to improve your listening skills.
Use English at home (find English roommates or live with a host family)
Surround yourself with English speakers: the more time you spend with native speakers, the more practice you will get! When looking for a roommate, try to find one who also speaks English.
